Artificial Intelligence - Algorithms and Biases

Artificial intelligence has become a part of our lives in unpredictable and sudden ways. Algorithms govern decisions that influence our daily lives, from content recommendations to loan approvals and job assignments. But these seemingly neutral algorithms carry with them the biases and prejudices of the humans who program them and the data they are based on. Professor Gianmaria Silvello discusses this, while Nicolò Targhetta's text humorously portrays the potential dystopian consequences of uncontrolled artificial intelligence.
